Já está no ar o site oficial da Conferência de Revisão de Durban 2001

The Durban Review Conference, to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, 20-24 April 2009, will evaluate progress towards the goals set by the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance in Durban, South Africa, in 2001.

The Review Conference will serve as a catalyst to fulfilling the promises of the Durban Declaration and Plan of Action agreed at the 2001 World Conference through reinvigorated actions, initiatives and practical solutions, illuminating the way toward equality for every individual and group in all regions and countries of the world.

Working Group to Continue Negotiations
A working group set up in Geneva to continue negotiations on what will become the draft outcome document for next year’s Durban Review Conference has begun holding informal consultations with regional groups to agree on how to organize its work over the coming months. In its first formal meeting, on Thursday, 27 November, the intersessional open-ended intergovernmental working group elected its first Chair, Russian diplomat Yuri Boychenko.
